"I genuinely believe that we are living through the greatest intellectual moment in history." - Matt Ridley, Genome
Overview
tompeters!company is a twenty year old management consulting firm that partners with executives who seek new levels of excellence by exploring, responding to, or leveraging disruptive environments. Tom Peters’ distinctive “Passion for Excellence” is expressed in concepts such as disruption and reinvention, workforce liberation, creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
Terrorist attacks, natural disasters, and energy prices are a few examples to remind us of how vulnerable we are and how disruptive these occurrences can be to our economic stability. Tom Peters has discussed this at length in Re-imagine! Business Excellence in a Disruptive Age. Tom relocated his company to Boston and selected a woman with a roar, Juli Ann Reynolds, to run it. They both believe that too many corporations are slow to respond to disruptive business environments and that competitors take advantage of that slowness. As you might imagine, Tom travels the world taking on CEOs and turns them on to Juli Ann and her team, who translate his provocative ranting into solid operational business practices that can transform your organization.

The internal components measured include:
The external components measured include:
Consulting Solutions: These are customized in order to address client problems and implement the changes necessary for moving from disruption to excellence. To achieve our goal, we use multiple elements of our tool kit, in the right order, with the right people, at the right time.
Coaching: We reinforce powerful mind-set shifts in leadership, business disruptions, perspective sharing, experiential activities, and business planning.
A disruption is a force that significantly interferes with the creation and flow of value between your organization and your customers. An organization can choose to create disruption, in order to compete or to take advantage in the marketplace. However, disruptions can happen to an organization that interrupt the normal success of that organization, in turn forcing the organization to respond or suffer the consequences. Sources of disruption may include: industry, markets, competition, technology, business practices, and intra-organizational tensions.
Our clients experience three types of disruptions:
When disruptions are affecting your organization, we lead a facilitated process to help you respond with agility. If you should choose a more competitive approach, we can help you become the aggressor, disrupting your competitors.
